In 2017 Melina Manasse co-founded MKubed, a bespoke talent strategy and solutions firm, after nearly half a decade on the client side as the Chief Talent Officer for MacAndrews & Forbes, Ronald O. Perelman's global, diversified investment and holding company in New York City. She built their in-house recruiting function from the ground up, focusing on strategic executive search. Melina and her team provided best-in-class head-hunting capabilities for the company’s thirteen subsidiaries as well as the investment arm and personal staff, for the Chairman and Principal. Melina has placed hundreds of professionals at all levels and across all sectors, around the world.

Melina previously ran the NY division of Talenthouse.com, an international online engagement marketing platform for artists and brands. She recruited thousands of artists globally to join the platform, across Film, Photography, Design, Dance, Music and Fashion. She was also responsible for Artist/Brand Relations, and brokered dozens of high-profile partnerships for the site, propelling it from a start-up to a “go-to” creative branding platform.

 

Prior, Melina worked for William Morris Endeavor, where she managed various accounts for high profile clients including Revlon, American Express and Project (RED). She was responsible for talent strategy, curation, new business and the activation of celebrity x brand partnerships.

Melina began her professional career in the hospitality sector, spending six years with the Soho House Group where she co-led the construction, development, design, staffing and opening of their flagship New York City property in the Meatpacking District. She also led the sponsorship and development efforts for Soho House’s marquee events at the time, the Oscar House in Los Angeles and the Cannes Film Festival House in France. Thereafter, she worked for Thompson Hotels as corporate Brand & Communications Director across their properties .
 

Melina holds a Master’s Degree, with Honors, from the London School of Economics and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University, where she received an Academic Scholarship. She is fluent in four languages and resides in Connecticut with her family.

Matthew John Morris co-founded MKubed when he realized that he could better serve his real estate clients if he could also assist with their professional and personal staffing needs. Matt oversees Talent Relations & Operations supporting MKubed’s clients diligently, from initial contact through candidate placement. He is a strategic problem-solver with a commitment to helping his clients achieve their goals. Matt's straightforward approach, integrity and flexibility shine in every facet of his work.

 

Prior to MKubed, he previously worked for Berkshire Hathaway, specializing in luxury Manhattan properties. He joined BH after working as a Real Estate agent in Dubai specializing in high-net-worth clientele at Sotheby’s International Realty. He was voted top broker at his firm, the #1 broker in two residential areas in Dubai, and a Top 10 broker overall. Matt achieved a sales volume of over $70 million and secured an exclusive for the most expensive villa in the Emirates Hills at $40 million.

 

Matt’s success in real estate was cultivated over the years due to an impressive, eclectic background. Born in London, England and also raised in Los Angeles, he was a world-class, professional tennis player for 16 years in Britain. After finishing school in Surrey U.K.., he went into the film industry. His filmography includes such movies as Spygame, Snatch and Ocean's 11, and working as a body double for an A list Hollywood actor for over a decade.

Living in Europe, Asia, the U.S. and Middle East fueled Matt’s global perspective, which he brings to his work, and an extensive rolodex of international contacts. Matt’s ability to connect with, understand and manage the highest caliber of clients and candidates are endemic to MKubed's approach. Clients appreciate the calming, professional and white-glove client service that Matt brings to each engagement, helping to bolster the relationships that are a hallmark of MKubed's continued success.
