Melina Manasse co-founded the bespoke talent strategy and solutions firm after 5 years as the Chief Talent Officer for Ronald O. Perelman.
Manasse was responsible for talent decisions for MacAndrews & Forbes, Ronald O. Perelman's global, diversified investment company in New York City. She built their in-house recruiting function from the ground up, focusing on strategic Executive recruiting and providing full-service search capabilities for the company’s thirteen subsidiaries, as well as corporate, Sponsor-level placements for the Chairman and Principal. Melina's recruiting experience spans the globe; she has placed hundreds of professionals at all levels and across all sectors.
Melina previously ran the NY division of Talenthouse.com, an international online engagement-marketing platform for artists and brands. Melina recruited thousands of artists from around the world to join the platform, across Film, Photography, Design, Music and Fashion. She was also accountable for Artist/Brand Relations, and brokered dozens of high-profile partnerships for the site, propelling it from a start-up to a “go-to” creative branding platform.
Manasse worked for William Morris Endeavor, where she managed various accounts for high profile clients including Revlon, American Express and Project (RED). She was responsible for talent strategy, curation and the activation of celebrity brand partnerships as well as new business pitches.
Melina began her professional career in the hospitality sector, spending six years with the Soho House Group where she co-led the construction, development, design, staffing and opening of the New York property. She also led sponsorship sales and the logistics of Soho House’s marquee events: the Oscar House in Los Angeles and the Cannes Film Festival Villa in France. Thereafter, she worked for Thompson Hotels as Director of Communications.
Melina holds a Master’s Degree in Media & Communication from the London School of Economics and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University, where she received an Academic Scholarship. She speaks four languages and is a regular contributor to several blogs. Melina resides in Brooklyn, New York with her family.
MATTHEW JOHN MORRIS
Matthew John Morris co-founded MKubed when he realized that he could
better serve his real estate clients by also assisting them with their full-service
personal and professional staffing needs.
Matt oversees Business Development, Finance & Operations and serves his
clients diligently from initial contact through the transaction and the closing.
He addresses any concerns and solves dilemmas before they become
problems, with a commitment to client goals. Matt's straightforward
approach, integrity and flexibility shine in every facet of his work.
Morris previously worked for Berkshire Hathaway, specializing in luxury
Manhattan properties. He was an exceptional agent in Dubai at one of
the top real estate firms in the market. Matt was voted top broker at his
firm, the #1 broker in two residential areas in Dubai, and a Top 10 broker
overall. He achieved a sales volume of over $70 million, and secured the
exclusive for the most expensive villa in the Emirates Hills at $40 million.
Morris’s success in real estate was cultivated over the years due to an
impressive, eclectic background. Born in London, England and also raised
in Los Angeles, he was a world-class, professional tennis player for 16 years
in Britain. After finishing school in Cranleigh, Surrey, U.K., he went into the
film industry. His filmography includes such movies as Spy Game, Snatch and
Ocean's 11 and working as a stunt/body double for an A list Hollywood actor
for many years.
Living in Europe, Asia, the U.S. and Middle East fueled Matt's strong understanding of architecture as well as the cultural differences and similarities each region poses in terms of purchasing properties. This knowledge has allowed him to develop an extensive rolodex of international contacts and a loyal clientele from around the world.
Morris’s ability to connect with, understand and manage the highest caliber of clients and candidates contributes greatly to the MKubed proprietary acquisition strategy.
